Bro my heart stopped
The whole theatre sighed and was like “aww man”
In any horror movie with white main characters it is always a relief at the end if the cops show up. Not in get out… that and the very first scene….
and to be honest, the entire film was building to that moment. like the film is a MASTERCLASS in getting white people in particular to empathize with the fears of black people. By the end of the movie, you were SUPPOSED to be afraid when you say that police car, particularly since the interaction with the police earlier in the film primed you for a bad encounter. I honestly think that last sequence in the film is brilliant for what it accomplishes
But there was homosexuality so of course they’ll allow it to win… Either way they win, because the movie furthers their agenda, the emasculation off the black men…
Please pay attention they are always playing chess…
But you’re acting like my gay ass won’t smack the shit out of you though.
I mean I didn’t know that a black film about homosexuality is declining the masculinity in black males are u fucking serious

Our world is diverse, our culture is diverse and our movies should reflect that.

here’s the two trailers:
The fact that Get Out is a “horror” movie is not a coincidence. It was very intentional, in fact if it wasn’t a horror movie it wouldn’t have gotten the point across! Being black in America is a horror movie. Never knowing when you will be next, when you will feel trapped. The sunken place seemed all too familiar. It’s the place you go when you have to “act proper” or “professional” which are almost synonymous to acting in a way that whites will accept you. Black people are admired for their strength, athletic ability, creativeness, etc. but it’s only ok if you put a white face on it or in the movies case a white mind with it. This movie was a brilliant work of art that showed how the paranoia of being black is something very real and scary that sometimes you wish you could “Get Out” of the skin you were born in. I loved this movie so much!
Still one of the greatest scenes in modern movie history.
yea nigga we will boat mash you
Ive watched this three times. Hilarious
“Aim high, Willis! Aim high!”
I fucking love this movie!
Hot take: This is the funniest Kevin Hart has ever been in any movie.
Isn’t that awesome? A movie about racism, about social issues everyone is trying to silence has topped $150 million at the box office. I’m not only proud of Jordan Peele, i’m also excited about the fact that people have actually seen this movie that shows all the struggles of black people. The success of #GetOut speaks louder than words. It’s historical for a black director and for black people.
A trailer for a new movie starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen just came out, and we should all be mad.
This is a movie about murder on native american reservations, FRAMING THE ENTIRE STORY AROUND WHITE PEOPLE.
For context, this is actually a serious problem on reservations because the government does not give a single flying fuck and evil white men have figured out that native women are easy targets. 84% of native women report being the victims of violence, significantly higher than any other group in the country. 90% of the perpetrators are non-native. Reservation governments can’t try white people and the FBI refuses to, so the violent crime rates are much higher. Native women routinely go missing, and people in power do not give a damn.
So now they’re making a movie about it WHERE ALL THE NATIVE PEOPLE ARE BACKGROUND CHARACTERS IN THEIR OWN STORY. This is, of course, continuing the longstanding tradition of media and hollywood completely ignoring native people and giving even the few roles that should belong to them (Jacob Black in Twilight, Jacqueline White on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) go to white people, making it completely impossible for native people to tell their own stories, while white people make millions off of exploiting them.
PLEASE REBLOG. PLEASE DON’T GIVE MONEY TO THIS MOVIE. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS NOT TO.
